My name is Scott Thorn. I used to have a blog about Odd News in the Michigan area called “Minority Report” back in the day when I used to work for MLive.com. Now I currently work for their parent company, Advance Internet, as a Night Editor & Producer.

I proposed this blog for MLive since Steven Seagal was born in Lansing, Michigan, therefore making him a topic of local interest.

I was denied. I have now gone rogue.

I have a background in a variety of things, but none of them help with hiring possibilities.

I have a degree in English w/Writing Emphasis (minors in Near Eastern Studies & Religious Studies)

I used to study languages including Spanish, Arabic (Modern Standard and Levantine Dialect), Hebrew (Biblical and Modern), Farsi (Modern and Classical) and Biblical Aramaic.

I have studied or been exposed to several martial arts including RyuKyu Kempo, Yin Style Baguazhang, Bujinkan, Chen Tai Chi, Dillman Pressure Points, Arnis, PTK, etc. I hold belt ranks in VeeJitsu Ryu Jujitsu / Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwan Do & in Hoshin Roshi Ryu Jutaijutsu (Hoshin Jutsu).

I was engaged in various energetic healing arts along the lines of Reiki, Karuna, Vajra, Secret Smile, shaktipat, etc.

I am a Certified Hypnotherapist (C.Ht).
